These carvings represent some of the cultures of West Africa (Cameroon). is an important means of identification that carries with it the protection of the ancestors. These artefacts were carved of wood, stone and antler used in masquerade ceremonies.
some say they poses spirits and blessings and curses from the Palace traditions.
